The family asks that in lieu of flowers memorial gifts be sent to the University of Mary Hardin-Baylor. All four of John's children attended there and 2 are music graduates of the university. He loved knowing that his children were in college. He always looked forward to visiting them on campus. Please note on your check "Hanks Memorial". The gifts will go to the Visual and Fine Arts Performing Arts Facility construction fund. Sabrina and Shawn both received music degrees from UMHB.
