Color Theory and the Big Apple

This has been an extremely busy week.  H is taking Color Theory classes during the day then we have VBS in the evenings.  Mom, aka The Taxi Driver, is tired.

Today was H's last day of art with Ms. Skippy.  There are two things I wish we could take with us when we move.  Ms. Skippy is one of them!

Our church always does a great job with decorating for VBS.  This year they had a hug bus in the worship center.  In case you haven't figured it out, we're in "The Big Apple" this year.  New York City, here we come!

The lights even turn on and off on this bus!  It's amazing!!

Happy Father's Day

The kids made lots of cards for Dad.  They also had some surprises for him that we bought at the store without him knowing.  Now he'll look really "cool" when he's walking around the neighborhood for exercise.

So thankful for our DAD!!!!

New Life Camp - Last Day

Tonight was the closing program for New Life Camp.

H completed her Bible study each month and mailed them on time. So she was awarded a trophy. We are very proud of her accomplishment.

Their cabin, FIRE, was awarded Best Cabin so all the campers in H's cabin received a ribbon as well.

Miss Mary was H's CIT.  She is also Ms. Skippy's assistant at art class.  H loves Miss Mary!

 Two more of H's counselors.

H at home with all her awards.

Second Day at Camp Wayland

The girls are too busy to be homesick.  Today they visited the zoo.  After riding the train and seeing the animals, they played in the water sprinklers.

On the train at the zoo.

After a picnic lunch at the zoo, they went to a "pots and paints" store.  They decorated some dishes which I can't wait to see!

Then...they finally made it to....

THE BEACH!!!!
