Tapestry of Grace Grand Finale

Today we wrapped up Year 4 as well as a complete cycle of all four years.
Wow!
It has been an amazing journey through the pages of history.  It truly is a Tapestry of Grace!

This is the Lower Grammar class.  It has been a fun year with these students.  I've enjoyed co-teaching with the other moms.  What a blessing this group is to our family!

Each student in our class did a project on a US President.  E chose President George W. Bush.  She completed the project completely on her own.  She did an outstanding job.

C chose President Ronald Reagan for her project.  She had definite ideas and opinions on how it should look.  She did a fabulous job on her project!

B has been working on this writing project for over two years.  As we studied each president, he wrote a paragraph about the man then added a picture.  He felt a real sense of accomplishment when he was able to share it with his class.  It was interesting to see his paragraph about President George Washington compared to his paragraph about our current president.  His writing skills have improved a great deal.  Super job, B!!

The class enjoyed some inventions of the 20th century while reviewing some of the things we've studied this year.

We all enjoyed lunch together for the last day.  Families who have been with us in the past but did not participate this year were invited to come for lunch.  This is our fearless leader, Eve, as she was presented a "thank you" gift for all her work for our co-op.

We enjoyed a powerpoint show of photos from the past four years.  This is a photo of the group looking at photos. :)

After lunch we took "class" outside to play.  We had cake to celebrate then enjoyed the last few minutes of visiting and talking about summer plans.

These boys were enjoying some basketball and of course B was right in the middle of it.

Sweet girls...E, Faith, C and Lily.

Now it's time to take a deep breath and get ready to head to the ancient world again this fall...
