Fun Photos from Virginia Beach

As promised...
Playing in the water (that's Miss Jane walking behind Brent)

The water wasn't so scary this year. Hannah tried out a boogie board.

Splashing in the water was such fun.

Family photo

We can't go to the beach without building a sandcastle.

Riding the Virginia Aquarium boat through Rudee Inlet

Dad is finally remembering...take photos of the kids with MOM!

I sure do like having my picture taken!

That's just a few of the many photos we have from last week. We had a great time. Thanks again, Miss Jane and Miss Laura, for inviting us. We always enjoy our time at our "beach house", Casa de la Wayland! :)

Brent's in Idaho now. The kids and I went swimming with friends this morning. It was our first time in a pool since May. Hannah's poison ivy in June kept us indoors for 3 weeks. We're hoping to swim more the rest of the summer.

This afternoon we bagged food at our church's Food Pantry. It was hot and humid. Kiddos weren't as energetic as usual. They lived through it though and came home thankful for a pantry full of food.

Hope your summer is going well. Make sure to leave a comment. The kids LOVE reading them!

You are making me really look forward to our Disney trip. Just three more months!

Did you visit New Hope Church while in the area?

The beach pictures remind me of when we all went on the cruise and played on the beach. Do you all remember that?
