Nine years ago today our oldest child went home to be with her Father. At times it seems like it was just yesterday. We continue to stand amazed at how God has blessed us with four children since that day.
We let the kids blow out a candle on a cupcake after dinner tonight to remember Gabrielle.
Hannah was having either an allergic reaction to "play" makeup or got into poison ivy. Otherwise, she and Corinne are all smiles.

Thank you, God, for our five children.
Thank You for knowing what is best for us.
Thank You for the promise of heaven.

I still have the letter you sent after Gabrielle was born. I kept it on my refrigerator for a long time. I was expecting Kyle at the time and I was just devastated for you guys. I had my own tiny little turn at that a couple of years later. Nothing compared to what you guys endured. You have been such a witness for the Lord as you have used such a tragic experience as a great testimony of God's love. Isn't it rewarding when God can use such difficult times in our lives in such positive ways?
