I'm in Texas this weekend to celebrate my grandmama's 98th birthday. I spent yesterday afternoon with her and Aunt Betty. Today I went to visit my friend from junior high, Stacy Meza, and her mom. I'm so glad I did! Stacy was diagnosed with a brain tumor in March 1999. The doctors gave her 5 years to live. But God healed her! We laughed and talked for three hours today.

Grammy and I went back to Aunt Betty's house this evening to visit some more with Grandmama. (And I wanted to lick the bowl from the buttercream icing Aunt Betty made for the birthday cake!) We had dinner with them and Uncle Charles. Yummy gumbo and Blue Bell ice cream. We laughed at funny stories from days gone by. I love Grandmama!!
