We decided this morning to spend our Memorial Day at our state capital. It was a very good choice. This was the first time our children have ever experienced a patriotic event like this so we've had lots of discussions since lunchtime. We also went to two museums and Pullen Park before arriving home with four very tired kiddos.
Bagpiper playing Amazing Grace
Our four precious children
Red Fox, Raccoon and Chipmunk
This was the best part of the costumes. :)
Mom and her girls ready for a train ride.
Dad's ready to scream in the tunnel!
GOD bless America
Land that I love
Stand beside her, and guide her
Thru the night with a light from above.
From the mountains to the prairies
To the oceans, white with foam,
God bless America,
My home sweet home.
We appreciate ALL the men and women who serve in our armed forces to protect the land that we love! GOD BLESS AMERICA!

Sounds like you had a great day! We were at a wedding today up in VA; beautiful outdoor setting, out in the country, on a river... it was lovely, but we all got sunburned! Sarah is home from Vienna; she had a great trip! Talk to you soon.

Thanks for sharing your day! I can't believe how tall Emma and Corinne have gotten!
Hope you're having a fun summer so far!
