Harbor Town Lighthouse

Tuesday afternoon we went to Harbor Town.  This is in the Sea Pines community of Hilton Head.  Our first stop was the lighthouse.

We could see the lighthouse which made the kids want to get there even faster.

The view was spectacular from the top of the lighthouse.

B enjoyed seeing the 18th hole of the golf course he had seen on tv many times.  The Atlantic Ocean is somewhere out there.

C likes to have her photo taken no matter where she is.  :)

I can't remember how old that oak tree is.  There were more boats than this photo shows in the marina.

Family photo by Mom.  No one else was up there so we had to be creative.

Once we got to the bottom of the lighthouse, the kids looked for sea shells some then we looked at boats on our walk back to the van.

We thought we had to get back to our condo for a boat trip but it got canceled due to the weather just as we were getting ready.  I was rather glad as I was sick all day and just wanted to sleep.  Allergies showed up at the wrong time!  Dad took the kids to the beach while I slept a bit.  I felt better after a nap so I joined them on the beach a bit before getting ready for dinner.
