As I was giving C some pain reliever for an ear ache...
C: Mom, how does the medicine work?
Mom: It makes the pain stop.
C: But how does the medicine know where to go?
Mom: It just starts looking.
C: But where does it start?
Mom: I don't know.
C: Probably in my tummy.

Tell C to be very, very still and very, very quiet. then she may hear the faint "beep, beep, beep" of the the little MMDV (motorized medicine delivery vehicle) as it moves through her blood stream. Oh, and tell her and her sibs that Miss Laura loves and misses them very much!
