Hannah's Big Weekend

Hannah leaving for Alexa's sleepover birthday party.

Prayer before start of Upwards basketball game.

Taking a rest with Mrs. Coach Williams and Cierra. She has been friends with Cierra since we moved to NC. They played soccer together their first year also when they were 4 years old.

Taking the ball down the court for her team, the Lady Wildcats.

Good game!

Hannah had a good time at Alexa's birthday party last night. They stayed up well past midnight so she was dragging a little by this afternoon when it was time to play basketball. They played dress-up, had a fashion show, got their nails done, decorated pillow cases, ate and then ate some more, and had lots of fun together. I think there were six girls Hannah's age plus two or three "big" girls (Alexa's big sister and her friend) plus parents and grandparents. She's ready to go to another sleepover so I guess she didn't miss us too much!:)

The basketball game was fun today. Her team scored one goal. It will be interesting to see how much they learn the next 7 weeks. Every team member gets a "star" to put on her uniform after the game. There are different colored stars for different things like best defense, best offense, best attitude, etc. Hannah got the white star for Best Christ-like Attitude. We are very proud of Hannah!

Mia and I hoped you had fun, Hannah! We're proud of you for getting the white star; that sounds like the best one to get!
