After a rather
warm winter, we had to wear our winter coats to the Easter Egg Hunt at church Saturday. The cold weather didn't keep the kids away though. There were almost 10,000 Easter eggs "hidden" for the several hundred kiddos who showed up to hunt. We had a good time. Laura was here for the night so she took Hannah with her age group while Brent and I had the other three with the younger group. Everyone had a good time and we have enough candy to last until the 4th of July!
Easter Sunday was a wonderful day as we celebrated the resurrection. We went to SS and church then came home to BBQ I had made on Saturday. We spent the afternoon enjoying family time and a little golf on tv. How about the results!? I wonder if Tiger realizes that there is SOMEONE bigger than him...and that SOMEONE allowed a believer to win on Easter so HE would receive the glory??!!
Although we had to wear sweaters to church Sunday, it felt like spring here more than in Central Texas where they were "snowed in"!

Sounds like a great Easter! We had a great time here in Texas too! Here's a picture of me and the family. I hope that sweet young woman with the name that starts with an "H" read this.Picture from Easter

I think this was the absolute coldest Easter we've ever had and it wasn't even "early" (March)! Cute dresses! Did you sew? I came across some nice "coordinating" things at Children's Place earlier this year, so we went with a family color theme: pudding and cactus . . . I'll have pictures posted soon on the blog . . .
